Teaching

Complementing my policy advisory work for businesses, government and institutional clients, I also teach about economic and geopolitical themes. I’ve taught International Political Economy at New York’s School of Global Affairs a few times, most recently in the Spring of 2025 and supported some of their short courses. I’ve also created an as-yet untaught course “Weaponized Economy” which surveys the role of sanctions, export controls and other coercive economic tools reshaping our economy.

Get in touch if you’d like me to support a class you are offering are interested in a syllabus or would like to collaborate on a course or program.

Capstone Projects

I’ve also participated as a capstone mentor/client with the Munk School at the University of Toronto for three years. For more on these projects see my critical minerals page. Helping students craft a project that meets client needs is critical for their future work – and their results have helped me meet client needs and get smarter on new market opportunities.
